You shouldn't live without the Various Artists and Porter Ricks
CDs. Amazing sound design on both of those. Very rich, textured
and womb-like sound. Personally I found the Vainqueur to be one of the
less interesting ones. Kinda dry. And out of the more recent batch (CRD
07-11) I think only the Delay is really worth spending some time with, but
I haven't heard the new Fluxion.
Two other closely related things which I'd highly recommend are the Rhythm
& Sound w/ Tikiman "Showcase" cd on Burial Mix for some really blunted
dub-house with & without ragga vocals and the Basic Channel comp which
has some amazing tracks from the BC catalogue on it plus a few tracks only
available on the CD.
The Maurizio comp on M/Maurizio is also very nice, but more housey you
could say.
