Anybody ever hear of a label called Merck (or maybe Murk) from the early nineties who used to release house music? Funky Green Dogs ring any bells? I had this mentioned to me today, a friend asked me whether they were the same people as the Merck who released the Squadron and Syndrone cds. Sounds unlikely only she thinks they were also from Florida. Too much of a coincidence perhaps? The Murk boys, Oscar G and Ralph Falcon, are the ones behind Funky Green Dogs -- I doubt they had anything to do with Merck... Ring 'em up at: http://allmusic.com/cg/x.dll?p=amg&sql=B168348 for more info... .John. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Merck definitely would've never released any house music. The founder of merck is a funky green dog, but we'll leave that up to him to argue *laugh* No. It's not the same label. :) -michelle ----- Original Message ----- From: Ross Balmer <ross@tui.co.uk> To: IDM <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Tuesday, September 19, 2000 1:58 PM Subject: [idm] Merck/Murk
