Hey, Years ago there were a few records that I used to think were heaven sent, and I rediscovered them over the last few days while working long hours into the morning....... here's a quick top 10 of things that rocked a few years back, and still give me shivers..... note: I left out the more obvious records like ae, black dog, b12, etc. etc. 1. Kraftwelt - Electric Dimension (Hypnotic) 2. Manna - Manna (R&S) 3. Darren Emerson & Alex Patterson - Textures 2CD (Vital) 4. Futique - Luv Luv (Instinct) 5. Tanzmusik - Sinsekai (Rising High) 6. Mind Over MIDI - Elektrical Aktivity (Beatservice) 7. Roupe - Entelechy (Resource) 8. Cabaret Voltaire - The Conversation (Plastex) 9. Single Cell Orchestra vs. Freaky Chakra (Astralwerks) 10. Sunscreem - o3 (Columbia) hehe.... the sunscreem I remember fondly from high school...... Mind over MIDI, Tanzmusik and Kraftwelt made it into the first DJ tape I ever made (dating back to 1995-6 or so..... I made a slipmat out of kleenex later on to drop tom jenkinson tracks, though it didn't keep me from busting my dad's old denon turntable)...... the Kraftwelt is by far distinguished as one of the rarest of gems in the hypnotic catalogue..... Bleepy cranium bumpin' for your lovin'..... start scouring the used bins........
