Hello. I made some friends of France and I asked them about danceable IDM music. They made me listen to these CDs which I LOVED! I don´t realize if it´s IDM (the progressive type); if it´s plain minimal or if it´s progressive trance, but it´s the type of music that I had been looking for a long time, and the music that I asked recommendations for. These are the albums: Heiko Laux - Liquidism (AWESOME!) Holy Spirit - The mind control of Candy Jones (AWESOME!) Jeff Mills - Purpose Maker Jeff Mills - The Other Day (AWESOME!) Joey Beltram - Places (AWESOME!) Johannes Heil - Realiti to MIDI (AWESOME!) Luke Vibert - Big Soup (AWESOME!) Maurizio - The M collection Monolake - Hong Kong Porter Rick - Biokinetics Ritchie Hawtin - Concept 1 (AWESOME!) Robert Gorl - Sex drops (AWESOME!) Sun Electric - Kitchen Surgeon - Basictonalvocabulary Vainqueur - Elevations And now I will throw my typical question: Can anyone recommend artists and compilations similar to these? there is alot of blending of genre's going on, most of the artists you listed would be considered techno, in fact jeff mills, surgeon, hawtin, and joey beltram are considered more or less classic techno. but hey who really cares? if you like these kind of artists check this link out... http://stations.mp3s.com/stations/56/3rdwave.html greg
