actually, we were thinking about it, but after conversation with Lackluster and the Focus/DeFocus people, we decided that it might, ahem, 'defocus' the 12" if there were other mixes floating around online when it was released - people might get confused as to what was on it and what wasn't, who was really releasing what, and so on.. so certainly, for our part, that won't happen (aww!). i did want to mention, tho, that i know i'd trailed the md album "between gaps" here as a possible CD/vinyl release on Monotonik. well, we've decided that due to lack of time to actually deal with the whole distribution/promotion thing, it looks like "between gaps" has shifted to be an mp3 release instead. in fact monotonik will be online-only for the foreseeable future. a shame in some ways, but i know Merck Records is releasing md's previous mp3 thing, "appelsap", as an CD soon enough, so maybe a similar thing might happen with another label further down the line. and besides, if you want an instant release that transcends all geographical and currency boundaries, the Net's pretty cool. as with all the monotonik stuff, btw, if anyone hears an artist and wants their stuff on their real-life label, then go ahead and contact us - we don't retain the 'copyright' to anything, we just wanna get our artists heard in all mediums, not just online :) umm, advert over. regards, h0l (http://www.mono211.com) ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

A shame, but understandable. Maybe when the 12" has been released and sold-out it could happen? Cheers, John --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
