Herbert is playing tonight in my town, apparently DJing and live as part of his "Around the House" project. The latter is a trio, I think, but I don't know the line up.. I'm not a big house fan at all, but do like Herbert.. maybe more so his un-house guises like Dr Rockit. I fancy a bit of a boogie, but was wondering if anyone has any words of recommendation/warning. Well, having bothered to go and check him out, I'd just have to say that that's pretty dead on. Mainly doing stuff with a singer and keyboardist, Herbert himself also took front of stage and did tracks with improv sampling of plastic bags scuffed on the microphones, buckling and twisting plastic bottles, etc. In that respect very much like what he gets up to as Dr Rockit or Wishmountain.. Great fun.
