Hi, Picked up this nice "budget" type comp, 4 CD's for $30, not bad where I am (far far away.) Seems to be from a Spanish label, lots of nice tracks inc. ones from Bola (aguilla - now I see what you all have been going on about) Jeff Mills, Ryoji Ikeda, Theorem, I-f and many other well-known and unknown (to me anyway - inc. a few Spanish) artists, interesting track selection throughout, mostly tracks from 1998 and 1999. It seems to be set up with one electro, house, techno and experimental CD. There's a "dog on wheels" on the cover, take a look if you see it! Yes - Sonar is an annual Spanish (alternative to Eebeetha, Thank God) festival that covers the more IDM-ish side of music. I've only got Sonar 98, which is a 3-CD package and also has lots of excellent tracks by both known and lesser known artists. I think it happens in June every year or somewhere thereabouts - anybody going?
