Well I got the new Slabco record in the mail - warning: I am something of
a fanatic - and it seems they have found yet another way to totally knock
my socks off. Unlike the cheerfulness of Land of the Loops, Volume
All*Stars, and Buckminster Fuzeboard, this double cd (Sientific American -
"Saints of Infinity") is dark as hell, but equally groovy and amazing.
Really can't recommend it enough (or any of the aforementioned - if you're
unfamiliar, between Land of the Loops and Volume All*Stars you can find 3
of the best records of the 90s. Bubblegum pop with hiphop beats and
hooks to die for...)
