i picked up the ant-zen box set recently (highly recommended - the best in digital/rhythmic noise easy) and there was a track on there by a band called stone glass steel. the track itself was not immediately impressive, but it sparked a memory. i had their album from '92 (?) on some TINY american label from st louis, missouri, but i lost it. it was great - full of really experimental noisy stuff, microtonal scales, etc. does anyone know any information about these guys? also, any information on the label (name eludes me), or their two label-mates, a band called death in arcadia (their '92 album i've got - good there, too), and another band whose name was something like "black moonlight on a beach" or something arty like that would be greatly appreciated. * #### a disturbance in a system. #### laerm. @voicenet.com #### a fortune cookie i ate 08/06/98 told me: "a girlfriend is a wine bottle. a wife is a bottle of wine."
