I posted the original message about an excellent AMPOULE record that I just bought, and with every reply IM getting more confused. There are either two outfits claiming the name AMPOULE, or Im very confused about the one. the EP to which im referring is called "Lucky & Easy" Mark @ Hedonizm did help me out with this:

The only link between Ampoule & Diskono is that they are >both from Scotland, but then so are the Krankies! There isn't half some >rubbish on these lists. That aside, the Ampoule is a bit good isn't it?

This came up the other day, but I deleted the msg. Something about test presses of Ampoule 01, apparently by the people who are working on the Diskono stuff. Does anyone know if this will eventually be available, repressed or on Diskono? Or are there any more of the originals floating around. The reason I ask is that I just read a review of it in the Mixmag Techno 12"s section, sounds ace - "these four tracks sound like Daft Punk high on Derrick May's "Icon", the complete Carl Craig back catalog, and time travel." Info or sources for this one? Also re: Mixmag. Whafuck with Mixmaster Morris no longer having a column? It wasn't in there last month, some kind of huge photo spread on "Ibiza - Totally Spannered!" (jeezus) taking up page space instead. But he's not around this month either. His chart was becoming my sole reason for buying the mag. I actually found it in a tiny record store in Ft Worth called Neurovox. The locals dont care too much for stuff thats not straightforward 4x4 techno ,house or jungle so it ended up in the 'weird' stack the owner sets aside for me.. His distributor ( not sure which) sneaked it on his last batch and it ended up in my stack by chance - good karma for certain. Mark@hedonizm has a knack for finding most anything, and should be able to sort you out with them since hes friends with Thomas (mr Lucky and Easy himself). try (http://www.hedonizm.demon.co.uk) .. Hes moving the shop to another location and the phone number is new so you may try to email him at (mark@hedonizm.demon.co.uk). Id love to hear more reviews on this, how these sweet tracks could have eluded IDM radar this long is really amazing. good luck, ernie Ernesto Ikerd, (817) 763-4795 Company Graphics, Dept 17, MZ-1156 Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems Fort Worth, Texas
