I just picked up a Warp Cd from 97 by Phoenecia. There is next to no info, but I like it a bunch. Anyone out there have any idea who these people are? I also picked up the new release by Kraftwelt (Retroish), and it is fantastic! If you were un-impressed by their previous stuff, I would try again with the new one. This stuff would be right at home on an Artifical Intel. comp. It's the guys that run the Schematic label out of Florida. Six 12" singles out so far, all quite nice. Grab 'em if you see 'em.

Totally agreed! I expected some serious cheeze when I pulled this one out of the promo pack, but was quite pleased once I gave it a listen. Nothing groundbreaking - just nice, melodic IDM. Check it out, y'all. Greg

They also have donated a track the forthcoming KUCI benefit CD "Loraine." It's a hand-numbered limited edition (500 copies) 2xCD compilation of electronic artists that have been on KUCI in the past. -Daniel 9-5SuperSpy@kuci.org ============================================================================== Listen to "Space Disco for Fish Tacos", KUCI 88.9fm Wednesdays 8-10pm New Space Disco For Fish Tacos web site: http://www.kuci.org/~dbremmer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "We're not talking about music. Hmmm... searched all about the kuci.org page but to no avail... any info would be greatly appreciated. was well worth the trip to the page though, as in 3 or 4 months (maybe less) i'm relocation from north california to the la area... my receiver is all packed up and has been for quite some time (got a preamp so who needs a reciever when radio just doesn't cut it?) looks like i'll be breaking that receiver out =)

The Loraine 2xCD is available through KUCI's fund drive. The regular drive has ended, but this week we're in the "slow drive" week where if you call (949) 824-6868 during buisness hours (pacific time) you can donate to KUCI at the $25 level and recieve a copy of Loraine as a premium. This is the best wat to ensure that you'll be able to get a copy, because all of my release forms strictly limit the pressing to 500, so when they're gone they're gone. All CD's are hand numbered and should arrive within a month. This is the first release on my new label, Peach. On Wed, 10 Jun 1998 ARG!!!!!@sub.sonic.net wrote:
