OK, they're not exactly IDM - but I recall some discussion of the wonderful early 90's shoegazer/ambient/ethereal band Ecstasy of St. Theresa on this list in the past, so I thought I'd mention this. While looking for some info about EOST on the web, I discovered that they're still around! Albeit with only one member from the incarnation that I was familiar with. They've got a site at MP3.com and an official site at http://www.eost.cz/ So now I need to know - does anyone know of a mail order source for their latest album, "In dust 3"? It was released last summer on Monitor EMI (the Czech arm of the EMI conglomerate, I assume). I've checked with the usual suspects but have come up blank. Ideas? Also - the News section of the site menitons that a CD with 8 remixes of a track from "In dust 3" is available with the February issue of Trip magazine. Anyone heard of this mag? Any idea where I could find it? I was also happy to discover that their debut album from 1991, "Susurrate", has been reissued by a US label called Clairecords. Just about to order it from the label (http://www.clairecords.com). cheers, Greg -- Greg Clow - greg@stainedproductions.com - greg@feedbackmonitor.com concert & event promotions - http://www.stainedproductions.com electronic music radio/reviews/interviews - http://www.feedbackmonitor.com 158 Close Ave. 2nd Floor - Toronto, Ontario M6K 2V5 - Canada --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
