hello, and happy monday. picked up "valley of the spirits" on saturday, and like "frequenseize", i love it. what else does mike dred have out there on CD that i can pick up? can anyone tell me when "valley of the spirits" was released? there's not much info in the sleeve. also picked up gentle people's "mix gently" and jimi tenor's "intervision" (finally). anyone know the order of the tracks on "mix gently"? the CD sleeve doesn't really help out too much. thanks, alan! np:chimera:valleyofthespirits ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

The only other Mike Dred-related cd i can think of is his recent Machine Codes comp. . Machine Codes: Code F cd (Machine Codes) This is a compilation of tracks culled from the 6 Machine Codes 12"s on Mike's Machine Codes label. Most of these tracks are acid techno numbers more in the style of his Frequenseize release. Supposedly there is another mike dred comp cd coming out soon. This comp will consist of tracks taken from all his universal indicator eps on rephlex. but you know how the rephlex release schedule is so don't hold your breath waiting for this one.

I think there was a comp of stuff on his label Machines Codes not too long ago. Don't know if it was on CD but I'd assume so. The only other thing I have is a 12" called Beyond The Box with Peter Green which is part excellent clangly noises in a Cylob style (Dred) and part stringy bitz (Green). Hope this helps, gb.
