I am going to New York City some time between now and April 26, 2000, and I would like to plan this trip around a musical event. Does anyone know of any electronic, hiphop, experimental or similar musical events happening between now and April 26? i don't live there or anything, but i've had *excellent* luck with the boys @ temple records, d.a.t. <digital audio therapy??? i think>, ephemera <or something like that> and mondo kim's. they're all kickass in their own little way, and they're all in the phone book...other music has actually been less good for me. it's all been smelly indie pop boys, crowding the chicks out at the bins. :) s. ps: barring any discomfort regarding gay bars, make sure you hit the cock on saturday night - ave a & 12? it's a deliciously tasteless affair i've yet to see rivalled the world over.
