Does anyone know the answers to these questions: 1. Is FSOJ 2 (2cd) the same as FSOJ Vol.3 (4lp) set. For example both supposedly have a Mike P track. On the CD it is Spronk (sp) 2. Recently bought Cylob Loops and Breaks-I appreciate the extra copy of the Lp but what gives with that? -- .... | | .... ..... .. ..... ..... .... .....| | / /| \/ \/ | \ \ / \ / /| |/ / | | \ \/ \/ / | . | | \ .. / | |\ \ | |..... | | \...../ \...../ .... .... .... .... The US version is called Vol. 2, the UK version is Vol. 3. As far as I know they're identical.

The idea is that it's a DJ tool, so you need two copies to do anything really interesting with it, or something. C. -- C.Hilker (cspot@hyperreal.com) "We don't relax, we Rolex"

Can anyone point the way to a review or fill me in on this release? Saw it in a local store and planning on trading in a bunch of old punk 7"s and such and am considering picking it up... Also, anyone have anything overly good or bad to mention about the Dream Injection comps? thanks np: The Knights Who Say Dot __________________________________________ sfwd@sonic.net LToN DiY Noise.Ambient.Techno.Industrial HomeRecordings & Such 4 Cheap ($3) http://www.sonic.net/~brap/

Haven't seen a review, but here's a condensed one for your reading displeasure: funky, jazzy, trippy, breaky, achy, mod. <<<sumbliminal message: unreleased trax... buy it now>>

A top series of idm comps. Quite a few of these cuts are available elsewhere, but one would be hard pressed (ouch) to find a tastier selection in one place. A sort of "greatest hits of idm", with most of the IDM Megastars (ahem) represented. Along the lines of the infamously fab Artificial Intelligence series, which, as we all know, put the "i" in idm. 3 double volumes in this series so far. Think: lush melody + gritty beats. 3 on now in microstudio 1: Jonas Hellborg: The Word. So beautiful it hurts. Tony Willams, we love you; you were the true future sound of jazz. Rest in peace.
