Another thing I've been doing is a little 'backward-engineering' - Take
a look at the Websites of some small labels or some indy artists, and
write down the info about their distributers - then draft up a letter
with some questions and info about your label - and send em off.
For example... Mr. Hrvatski has done well in the distribution game, take
a look at this page on his site:

lots of good places to distribute with. I actually bought the Hrvatski
album at a small local store, so somehow, he is gettig his music
everywhere.
Creating a label is one thing, but running a successful business is
another.
