this compilation has absolutely nothing of value to anyone of this list!
this is all jungle and the only 'intelligent' track is the 'elemental' one.
i am in the US, but pickings aren't slim. i've gotten a lot of jungle
compilations with the help of dave at good ole ear/rational and various
friends on the breaks list.

well, law of the jungle blows 'history' apart...

i love this track. 'i am the nuttah, original madman madman nuttah!'
why did you review this on this list?? try breaks@xmission.com!

'tossed salad'?
what do you mean by that? just slammin' jungle.

i didn't really like this tune but that is besides the point. this is
jungle. there are vocals.

uh. no. jungle combines a lot of female vocal samples. perhaps you don't
understand what effect the wailing diva has on the dancefloor. let me
assure you that vocal sample has one hell of an effect.
and that isn't the image you are supposed to get either, that of 2U being
beat out by a junglist.

if you are looking for 'intelligent jungle' or drum & bass as it is properly
called, try these compilations:
kickin' hardcore leaders vol. 5: jungle dub
face of the future lp
jungle tekno vol. 3, 4, 5
drum & bass selection vol. 1, 2, 3 (these actual contain only a few deep cuts.
most of the d+b series contains a lot of real jungle)
the joint 2
renegade selector 1, 2
etc!
there is a lot out there, but don't be blinded by the fact that because
you lie in the US it is unaccessible to you. it isn't.
anyway, i just got drum & bass selection 3 today, and soon as FSOL's
brilliant 'ISDN' ends it's getting popped into my cd player!
