Friday afternoon I went to Somewhere In Detroit (Submerge record store). While I was there, Mike Banks, Juan Atkins, DJ Lewis (Orb), Laura from Transmat, and the owner of 430 West Records all showed up. Mike mentioned that Larkin was in stable condition from the two gunshot wounds, and would probably be well enough to receive visitors on Monday. He also mentioned that they caught the guys who shot him. Please do. I'd drop him a card. Kinda makes me sick when I think that 2 Unlimited, say, probably don't live in a neighborhood where things like gunshots impede their careers. (er, hope that didn't sound too kneejerk P.C. - I don't begrudge successful people their success and of course I don't *wish* that 2 Unlimited would get shot. Maybe Madonna though... ;^) R.

as far as i know, kenny larkin lives in birmingham/bloomfield hills, which is as suburban as you can get, really. maybe i got the wrong info on this tho. jason
