some of this blurs the line between drum'n'bass and breakcore - but lines are meant to be blurred, imho... and there isn't that much of a line between Plug and de Babalon to begin with - so we might as well smudge it a bit. DJ Scud (a decent collection of his tracks was released on Rephlex), Enduser, Pushy, Christoph de Babalon, Current Value... anything you can find on labels like Sub/version, Ambush and Amputate... Just about anything by Fringelli is brilliant... in fact, a lot of the Praxis back catalog is pretty top notch - although they don't stick to any particular style and some of the records are not for the faint of heart (the Pure release, for example)... Genosha is an interesting label, as was Fear (based out of the US so it had next to no profile in the UK - they released three records and there were tests of two on the Fear Red sublabel)... Eye-D, Hidden, Atomly, Slacknote and Kid Kryptic were part of their roster. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
