I consider electronica as short-hand for electronic music. I like that
it's very broad, because it keeps people wondering what I'm talking
about, so the discussion goes somewhere. Those who don't wonder, well,
I'd probably rather not have a music conversation with them anyway.
Me, I just dislike when someone sends to a mailing list an email that's
marked with a request for a read-receipt. But that's just me.
