ooh. I beg to differ, honey. As somebody who works in and around music, I can't say how useful it is to have (nearly) my entire library of recordings on one little, portable hard drive. With a mini-stereo->RCA Audio converter, I can connect my iPod to the sound system in a lecture hall/classroom spontaneously. I've stopped counting how many "songs" I own, but my 40G baby is brimming with musical samples. Mind you, I will agree that many people don't use iPods to their full capabilities.
