Strangely I find hectic techno, like Deetron's In The Mix and Adam Beyer's Timecode comps. very soothing while stuck in peak hour traffic! Late night solo driving - especially in the rain - can be greatly enhanced by Ulrich Schnauss, early Autechre and any of those floaty ambient IDM ca. 1994/5 era comps (generally home-made cassettes). I also like Seek's list that includes Villalobos' DJ mixes, Alcachofa etc. Those work well! For general city driving - stopping and starting at traffic lights etc. nothing beats dubby reggae to put a smile on my face! I * On 29 Jul 2004 at 12:40, visa wrote:
