I just have to say that I really dig the new Godspeed You! Black Emperor "Yanqui U.X.O.". What I heard of their past material didn't excite me much. Is it me, or is this new album the best thing they have done? Perhaps I need to clean my ears and go back to their past efforts? I remember the older material had a lot field recordings and spoken-word snippets and it didn't really move me that much
I also recently check out Exhaust - "Enregistreur", and there are a few tracks that are really cool.
What's the 1-Speed Bike "Droopy Butt Begone" release sound like?
I'm looking for material more on the edgier noisy side of things, but still very listenable.
