I lost my IDM virginity by buying Autechre's Tri Repetae at Rasputin's
in Berkeley in 1997. Didn't like it at first either. What really got
me hooked was the Envane EP, I Care Because You Do, and early Muziq like
Tango'n'Vectif (the latter was introduced to me by a coworker who also
introduced to me Mod Lang Records in Berkeley and the idea of buying
imports... blast!).
