interesting thread.. although i completely disagree with the comments that
everyone is making the same style of dnb nowadays. surely to prove that theory
wrong all you have to do is listen to some of it!
i find the popular skittery techno dnb pretty boring (bc, konflict and the
like) and sure a lot of this is being made but there are the other styles
people have mentioned:
-the minimal teebee / polar style (which sounds like a new take on photek's
style to me)
-paradox' crazy beat construction (he's got his own category)
-rave shit (total science and the like)
-digital is the king of dubby drum & bass... check out session on function
records
