Some fun stuff happening this week, lets take a look:
Tonight, Tuesday
Aeron's and Sofas, Record Camp's 3 hour tour that leaves you stranded on a
street corner drunk off your ass with some strange bleepy buzzing sounds
swimming in your head.
That's right, it's happy hour from 7 -9 @ Open Air,121 St Marks Pl. The
black place with no signage.
Later that night...
well, from 9 - 4 at Bar 13 Glitch presents it's monthly Glitch party,
tonight we have malfunction, ladyshave, cut faster (that's me), david,
nemesis enforcer.
David is representing Warps brooknam offices so expect ep8's and things like
that :-)
Tomorrow,
Static presents Babyford, Zip and Derelict May and Giorgio Marauder from
Slunt records.
Everyone's been buzzing about electroclash but really, we all know it's
about acid house. Remember the smiley faces? Remember Bez? how could you
forget.
Well Babyford has made some of the best Acid House and Techno records around
and this Wednesday he's all yours. Zip is the owner of Perlon Records, you
know, minimal house, black and yellow sleeves, good stuff!
And the Slunt guys, well, the rock, not only are they NYC natives but they
also drop some seriously sweet acid house, they'll be playing live in the
RC/G room. Don't miss it, you'll regret it. Just think, 4 years ago static
brought in a totally unknown group called adult, hmmmm.....
