Others seem to agree. My partner used to be involved in a charismatic Christian sect when she was in her teens, and still has some tapes of various key speakers from that time. One of them is about back masking, rock'n'roll being Satanic, and that whole bizz.
The bit that made me laugh out loud was when the speaker proclaims in a broad Australian accent: "... but the most Satanic band on Earth is called Electric Light Orchestra!"
Just think of all of the bands in the world that must've been totally outside the guy's scope for him to conclude that ELO are the most Satanic. :-D
I'd apologise for being OT, but it doesn't seem worth it anymore.

PS. FWIW, the basis of the Satanic claims seems to be because Jeff Lynne did incorporate bona fide reversed vocal stuff in his music. The fact that it said things as vague (and potentially listener-mocking) as "turn back" was irrelevant - this obviously meant turn away from Christ.
