unlike most of you, it seems, i was a little late in the conversion game... my first warp release was the r.d.james album because up until hearing that i thought that electronic music symbolized the bastardization of acoustic or live sounds, i thought that machines made the music... so, when i heard aphex twin, and specifically that album, it came as quite a shock to hear these NEW sounds configured in these totally unique and original ways... it changed the way i looked not just at electronic music, but ALL music in general. i've never been the same musically, and i'd have never begun making electronic music (i think i can presume) if it hadn't been for the r.d.james album. thank you, rob, i hope you're well. with love, gregory ===== ************************* cd-r's for sale or trade******************* jean paul l'asthme: 'unstuck your eyeglue'* ********************************&********** __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
