Personal opinion or not, writing off a whole genre is bound to get you
flamed on this list.
And disliking rap because it is (here i go paraphrasing) a bunch of young
afro-american males talking about how hard-done-by they are is pretty...
well, ignorant. Would you rather they grabbed an acoustic guitar and wrote
some nice folky tunes? Or would you like to hear them sing about how
everything's just fine, and not complain about the economic plight facing
millions of people of all colours around the world? Shit, next thing you
know, you'll be dismissing "rock" music because its all about a bunch of
guys and girls trying to get laid....
on an idm-note, i really like Tipper's older stuff on Fuel... Sound Off is
great too....
