Huh ? You find that a laptop going through a shitty and usually distorted
sound system (which is the case the majority of the time) sounds more
"pure" then a mastered DAT or aiff/wav files directly transfered to a CD
and played over a decent stereo system ?
And I'm curious about what an aiff/wav file loses when it's "processed,
re-recorded, or dubbed" since at least 2 of those things will no doubt be
done digitally ?
What the hell does "pure" mean anyway when you're dealing with digitally
manipulated sound ?
