Dettinger's 'Intershop' is one of the few releases I happily thrashed for many months last year, and still love listening to. I'm sure the new full length, 'Oasis' will be similarly great. There are some soundclips on Kompakt's web site (they're the label who released both of these). http://www.kompakt-net.de It'll take a bit of navigating, but dig about and you'll find them. I'm not going to venture descriptions, because I've yet to hear anything much like his stuff, in terms of the textures and sounds he uses. Nice.

Pretty patchy techno by Wolfgang Voigt, largely based around blatant samples of pop songs, that single off the Queen album released after Freddy died.. whatever... something pretty terrible, IMO. I wouldn't recommend Love Inc if you've never heard anything else by Wolfgang Voigt (also aka Mike Ink, Gas, M:I:5, etc etc), because I think he has better releases. The tunes I enjoyed on 'Life's a Gas' were in the vein of the Burger / Ink collaboration 'Las vegas', which I would recommend. I found it a bit more fleshed out, with some more interesting material, and less, I dunno, "throw away". It's still very repetitive techno, so if that's not your thing, steer clear.
