Props to the Kid for a pretty amazing set. My favorite songs were the
ones with piano, or samples thereof -- which is odd, as piano in
electronic music usually "ain't me thang". Because of all the noise
fuckery going on around it, that song reminded me *heavily* of early
Severed Heads. The gangsta-hop song right after that floored me.

I wish I could say the same, but I was pretty durn bored by his set.

Pluramon was a great act to doze to -- and I don't mean that in a
negative way. The second song they did was just stellar -- like some sort
of warped, blurred Joy Division type thing. The rest was pretty neat,
kinda in the Kraftwerk "Kraftwerk 2"/Tortoise-y way... Their performance
wasn't anything spectacular, but it worked well from upstairs while I was
snoozing. :)
On a side bar, I got *really* pissed off at the folks on the floor who
wouldn't shut the fuck up while Pluramon were playing their first song.
If any of you guys heard the asshole that yelled out "SSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHH!"
