I picked up a compilation CD on Korm called "6x10=60 VOL. 2" it's a set of remastered recordings from '84-'92. some crazy and twisted stuff, here, difficult for me to explain, but here's some of the artisits included: Coupe de Grace - some cheap synth tracks that makes John Carpenter's music sound cheery Hjarntortyr Med Slackmastin - a few tracks with "lo-fi" type downer acoustic songrwriter stuff, very much like the "Siltbreeze" label sound No Unauthorized - S.B.O.T.H.I. - Burbonese Qualk - random noise, post industrial, typical late 80s RRR sound, like something out of Bananafish. My point and IDM content: I still haven't picked up the Tone Language CD on Korm which I hear is great and innovative. I know where to find it but I can't find any updated information about the label. One retailer says Korm is in their "third phase." Does anyone have the latest discog and a synopsis of Korm's genre phases? i'll assume phase one is covered by "6x10=60 VOL. 2" thnks mully actually enjoying Burbonese Qualk
