Actually I find all three Intermix releases superior to anything by
Autechre or Seefeel. Just my personal preference, not slamming Autechre...
Unfortunately they seem to be going slightly downhill. I like the second
and third albums, but not nearly as much as the first. The third's main
drawback is long lead-ins on each song that don't really add much.
The second album is pretty good, I was probably just expecting a lot after
the first. You'll have to pry that one from my cold, dead CD player after
I'm gone.
BTW: Pete Ashdown is right, Intermix is the BEST driving music around. I
recommend the desert at night.
