To my opinion the best things Dan Curtin produced are the three 12"
es on his own label Metamorphic and the one before that on 33
rpm/Sinewave. Those tracks are really freakin'. Very chaotic and
neurotic. Very cool. After that I haven't here that much good of him.
His 12"es on Peacefrog are to me very weak. And with his album he
tried to made something moody or cool I don't know but I don't find
it that good. I just heard a new 12" of him together with a japanese
guy (not Ken Ishi), and it was a bit like raw Chigago trax.
I hope he finds his way back to things he used to produce...
