Wow... that's a dramatic change for their splash page.... and no links from it either... My guess is that it's update time at the Hexagon Sun. Maybe we'll finally find out when their new album will see its release?? -Ryan At 10:50 PM 7/2/2001 +0100, you wrote:

As a web developer I gotta say... This is quite a no-no! Updates are great (and essential) but removing the existing content *while* you are working on the update is just uncalled for. Add to that the lack of *any* updated information (such as stay tuned - under construction) and you've just turned away people who never knew there was anything before the update. On a personal note - the background image is pretty crappy as well. BOC usually seem to have a real sense of design, layout and colors (or their designers do) but this stuff is pretty bad. Of course it's all about the music though so we shouldn't even care right? According to the Warp BoC board, the site's been down since June 23, and the background imagery has been changing routinely. I'm sure the CD will be nice and pretty, don't worry! -Ryan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

This may hold true for your standard e-commerce sight, but there ain't no no-no's when it comes to this bunch. The building up of anticipation with the lack of any timeline, schedule or confirmation of existence is something that I've grown quite accustomed to over the past few years. Sit back relax and check back every few days or so...even though you will most likely see that same page each time. Ironically, that anticipation of something new in the works is more of a reason to check it more frequently. They probably get more hits when there's no content. TekDz9er
