I'm making myself some compilations and am trying to track down the best mixes by The Orb and 808 State. This includes other people remixing the band, the band remixing other people, or the band remixing themselves. As a side note, I'm trying to track down a digital recording of Pacific 516... Does one exist or is it only on 12"? (Don't forget promos! I've found Pacifics 707, 303, and 909 on CD...) Any info would be most 'pershiated! Oh, and if there are any really cool Black Dog/Balil tracks that aren't on Bytes, Temple, or Parasight that I should know about, then...let me know about them! I keep hearing about this Seers & Sages thing... Curse you, rare tracks! --Seofon

Don't forget the excellent 'Nort Route'! It was originally released on ART records. It's also on the (extremely good) compilation 'Intergalactic Beats' on Planet E, which is Carl Craig's label. Also, on the ART/RePHLeX compilation 'The Philosophy Of Sound And Machine' (ART2) are some tracks by the Black Dog as well as on 'Applied Rhythmic Technology' on ART (ART4) Black Dog urge you not to buy forthcoming releases on ART (or on Beechwood) featuring their tracks as they feel they're being exploited. Black Dog also released two EPs on Rising High, the 'Black Dog Productions' EP, and the Balil EP feat. Parasight. Also numerous releases on GPR and their own label (all sold out as far as i know)...
