Hi again all! I forgot to put this in with my last letter. The rumor about Warner Bros. dropping all ambient/techno projects from it and all Warner's affiliated labels is UNTRUE! I spoke to a contact I have with the label, and I was told that the rumor is completely untrue. My contact also told me not to believe something like that! Hehehe... I also asked if Aphex Twin's Analogue Bubblebath 4 will be released on SIRE/Warner Bros. The answer is NO. I thought that y'all would like to know. Well, I don't know for sure what Warner Bros. can or cannot touch from Richard James under the Aphex Twin pseudonym. What does his agreement with Warner Bros. state? Does anyone know for sure? As far as I can tell, Warner Bros. can only release Aphex's stuff on WARP Records ONLY. Is that correct? I checked the IDM Archives and I couldn't find anything on this.
