-------- Banco de Gaia Was any of you the lucky 2000 who got the free 4-track live e.p. with their vinyl copy of Maya? What I would like to know is...what is on it, is it good, and where was it recorded (i.e. was I there?). -------- SAWII Permit me to gloat...All those with vinyl (whine-il more like) will be sad to hear that SAWII sounds absolutely f#@king amazing from a digital source and through a (very) Hi-Fi. I cannot see how scratchy black, and any advance on 80 watts of quality reproduction could possibly enhance this trip. My advice... buy it in silver.. Sorry about that....I admit to the principle the concept of analogue records producing purer sound than digital...BUT, I personally cannot afford 2000 english quids of steel-wheel, especially when the vinyl pressing is imperfect to begin with. ------- OH OH...I seem to have resurrected an old argument about cd vs vinyl...sorry Well I am leaving the country TOMORROW so get your back-lash in NOW. Personal vendettas, threats and poisoned e-mail may be sent: c/o <70743.317@compuserve.com> ----------(p.s. its not my own account) When I get back in 6 weeks I hope to find this argument still raging (not). In the meantime: practical write-ups + end-of-term = shit creek - paddle Remember, don't forget.
