Can anyone recommend any of the following: Nights of Pan album on MFS (includes "A Night On E") Exist Dance <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< The album by the Nights of Pan called 'Into the Great White Light' is really good. I'm not into really hard acidy trance that much, but these guys really know how to do it. The song called "A Night on E (where nightmares never end)" is incredible. It's about 25 minutes long and slowly builds over the course of the song to a mindbending peak, and then subsides again. They use some typical 303 sounds, but they also use some pretty incredible laser sounds as well. I'm not sure what type of keyboard they use to make those, but their instruments sound sophisticated and spacy, not wimpy little 'Soundblaster-like' noises that are all too common of a lot of bands in their genre. I'm really a house music junkie, so it's not that often that I'll have anything good to say about hard trance. But this is one album that is worth buying. Exist Dance is a great label. They've released some very good stuff, like Freaky Chakra, for example. It's a different style of music entirely from European house though. Their music is quite different from Euro-house though. It's got a lot of that San Frandisco house style to it, and if you like stuff like Twitch remixes, or the California Dreaming compilation, you'll probably like Exist Dance quite a bit.
