Well, I've always been under the impression that "If It Really Is Me"'s piano loop is sampled from the theme song to 'The Young and the Restless' (the soap opera). And the drums in "Xtal" have always sounded strangely familiar to me too. Oh well. C. -- (chris.hilker) cspot@cats.ucsc.edu

Hey everyone, I was reading the Nexis (online periodical info server) and found out that the piano part in the beginning of "on" was sampled from a 1964 herbie hancock album entitled "Cantaloupe Island." I thought Richard was opposed to sampling. Correction anyone? Anyway I just thought that this was a pretty tasty factoid. Stewart
