Abduction seems to arouse differnt views in different people. I've seen some reviews of it which claim it's just standard synths of a drum machine stuff. I personally love it. Also out there is an untitled EP with and EAT STATIC label on one side of the vinyl, and a picture of an ALIEN on the other side. I can't remember the track names for the life of me at the moment except for 'Almost Human'. Anyway if you see it buy it...Its kinda different from 'Abduction' If anything I think its better. Just picked up the new Eat Static LP `Implant' yesterday, and have listened to it a few times since - and I'm pretty impressed - about 73 minutes or so following on from `Abduction' and very similar in quality, though I do think its actually a bit better. reminiscent, yes similar, no - it's got the same feel sometimes, but it's more dancy and less ambient - perhaps the adjective `heavier' would suffice... Geoff.

I find _Abduction_ to be fun, but _Implant_ is classic. Much more diverse in sounds and direction, IMHO. Cheers. =B)
