i'll be brief. . .my only mention of cartridge (actually it was headshell)
was in reference to the effect that the grooves on the AFX dub track have on
it. . .this was an allusion to an earlier post by someone who had some skipping
on said track. . .they mentioned "crosshatches" . . .Ben poked in that every
copy he tested "about 30" played just fine. . .so i thought that it may be the
grooves tossing the cartridge right out of track. . .it was later this morning
that i discovered the post by someone asking for cartridge advice. . .which
you are right does not have much place here on idm. . .
sorry if i inadvertantly sparked some bpm flavored discussion. . .i'm sure our
little conversation has nipped any future technical diversions in the bud, bud
