Hello all,
as you know Decibel Festival 2008 is quickly upon us. This is a very big happening for electronic music in Seattle. It is an amazing effort by a VERY dedicated group of people who are commited to creating a world renowned festival of electronic arts. The festival is quickly becoming a world revered arts festival; with people from all over the globe paying attention to what we are doing in our fair city. With that in mind, Sensory Effect is hosting a benefit event at Nectar Lounge tonight (9-16). Our hope is to raise enough money to help relieve the costs of the event we're throwing Friday night as part of the festival. There are over a 120 different artists playing the festival and as such, there is a lot that we can do as a community to make their contribution important and worthwhile. It is up to us to support them; both by seeing them play, and also thinking about what it means to have this type of talent here in Seattle. At Nectar on Tuesday
night, Skoi Sirius, WD4D, The Naturebot, and Mr Zillion have all agreed to play a benefit to help the festival.
Everything kicks off at 9pm and is only $5
