In Santiago, go eat some tapas and drink a Pisco Sour at Etniko<

Also check out Pablo Neruda's houses, there's one in Santiago called La Chascona, there's another one in Valparaiso but the coolest one is La Isla Negra<
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casa_de_Isla_Negra> on the beach south of Valparaiso. He's a famous poet from the 40s and his houses are full of cool stuff.

Subject: [idm] Visiting Santiago and Argentina
Good morning ambient/idm list.
I'll soon be spending some time in Santiago, Chile, at the start of a 7-week trip to be spent mostly seeing the sights of northern Argentina. Do listmembers have any recommendations for me in Santiago? Valparaiso? Mendoza? Jujuy? Salta? Puerto Iguazu? Buenos Aires? Cordoba?
When in urban areas, I'm always looking for interesting music venues, coffeeshops, bookstores.
Thank you for any recommendations.
Edward
