What I like about CDs:
The sound quality (sometimes!)
The durability (sometimes!)
The fact that I can wrap them up in a plasic bag (or two!), pop them in my
coat pocket and take them down the pub, for a friend to borrow - something I
would *never* countenance with vinyl!!!
Errr... that's it, I think!
As for the "hidden tracks" stuff, I think that's pretentious bollocks! The
only time I've found that fun was with (...Father, forgive me!) Nine Inch
Nails'* "Broken", which had a track listing that went something like: 7
tracks of music, 91 small tracks of silence, then one very noisy hidden
track. I used to like scaring myself by turning the volume up, putting my
CD player on "random" and seeing what would happen! :-)

try to put it all behind me and get on with the rest of my life!
