Yeah, that was me. When I made that prediction, one response was:
"The top-of-the-line iPod is only $399. Secondly, the rumored 60 gb
iPod is supposed to have video/color screen, which will affect the
cost, and no, it won't be $600. It will probably be $499, but that's
speculation."
Heh... Hate to say I told you so, but...
All I really care about for my mp3 player is the music. I don't plan
on staring at the machine while I listen to the music. Honestly. I
really don't see what the big deal is about a color screen. Maybe I'll
eat these words some day, but I doubt it.
