some people might use it like that. i've only heard it referring to the music coming out about 20 years ago, stuff by arthur baker and john robie and the like. I've seen it various times, but not very often. I have a site called pghelectro for local electronic stuff, but its just for aesthetic purpose, and is meant to allude pittsburgh electronic (music). Speaking of the electro, the new 2LP/CD compilation "Disco Undead" just came out on Device. Its all electro that takes themes from classic horror flicks.
