Yep. We wanted to make sure nobody got left out of the file-sharing
craze by having to first record their LP into a computer and THEN rip it
to mp3...
Really, it's just a cheaper way to get the music out to as many people
as possible without the label having to pay extra for two kinds of
packaging. We're serious about people giving away whichever format they
don't want to use to whomever they wanna give it to. Or sell it on
E-Bay. Or Soulseek it. Or keep the CD in your car and the LP in your
vinyl bag. We just want people to hear it. Everywhere. All the time.
Stop listening to other bands, just keep it on String Theory all the
time. Your iPod will thank you. So will your girlfriend.
There's also a bonus track on the CD, which is the tune "Honey-Top" from
our Frank Wobbly and Sons 7" ... and the 7" looks super-wicked so if you
can find that, buy it too (and cram it into the LP sleeve with the CD
and LP while you're at it, why not?).

Take care!
