hello list i'd like to write an article about Muslimgauze, and see if it possible to produce some material to publish with some concepts related to arab culture in the western europe countries (i.e. proposing a slightly political perspective). Bryan Jones died in 1999. Do you know if hthe group is still working or just re editing previous albums? do you know something about this manchester based collettivo? do you know other musical artists/producers from middle east involved in electronic music research? all opinions and points of view are interesting... thanks in advance eva __________________________________________________________________ Tiscali ADSL Senza Canone, paga solo quello che consumi! I'm not going to get into the political aspects of Muslimgauze, as it's hardly my area of expertise. However, I do have some comments/corrections related to your questions...
quoted 1 line Bryan Jones died in 1999.>Bryan Jones died in 1999.
His name was Bryn, not Bryan.

Muslimgauze was never a group or collective, it was the work of Jones alone. So there is obviously no new Muslimgauze material being recorded. All "new" Muslimgause releases are either previously unreleased tracks (of which there is apparently a great deal - Jones recorded a LOT of material), or repackaged versions of old releases.
